Lap Tops

We traded inour computer lab for Lap Tops. Students and teachers are enjoying having the computers come to them rather than the traditional computer lab. All of the grade have used the "COW" computers on wheels. Research skills are being worked on with all grade.

Telethon- Bring Back the Music

This year we had twenty five of our students take advantage of the Bring Back the Music Progam. This program is a partnership between the Medicine Hat College Conservatory of Music and Riverside School. Students received two hours of strings instruction a week at no cost. The students did an amazing job of practicing and were the star of the Medicine Hat School District 76 Telethon. We need to thank the College as well as the The Wilson Family for making this happen. We have one more performance- May 9 at our open house. Thank you to the instructors from the College for making this venture a very enjoyable learning experience for all. We cannot wait until next year. If we were this good in one year imagine what another year can do.

Science Fair 101

 This year some of the students took part in Science Fair 101. We had some experts from the Medicine Hat College help us with our projects. Several groups went to the Regional Fair at the Medicine Hat College and made it into the second round of judging. Congrats. to Shey and Sayla as well as Addision and Metayha.

Crazy Hat, face painting and Hot Lunch day

Today Parent Council organized a Pita hot lunch and then added crazy hat and face painting to the day. We loved how the students showed up with original homemade hats. Thanks to the parents who helped the students make the hats and a big thank you to Ms. Mulder and Ms. Chirstianson for organzing and hand out our lunches.
