Happy Halloween

Thank you to all of our community experts for making this afternoon such a great learning opportunity. The skills we learned can help us find things we like to do. Thank you Mrs. Campbell,Ms.Grier and family, Mr. Curliss and Mr Grisnoch, Mrs Gilchrist and Sigmond Brouwer for leading workshops. Thank you the volunteers who helped out and to parent council for the lunch. Community is such a blessed thing. We are truely lucky to have such and active community. As Kooper and Lincoln remarked the  costumes were great, learning was fun and by the way;can we do this again on Monday.

Critical friends make our work better

The grade five six class was practicing the critical friends protocol with an art project. Last week we did our first picture. Now we used our critical friends to help our second try. Zack commented on how much better his picture was and how proud he was of his work.
Taking the time to get feedback and stressing that we want beautiful work has payed off. Loved all the smiles that went with this project.
